I am Dr. Kathleen Meehan-de la Cruz, a board certified family physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP) I bring more than two decades of experience in comprehensive, evidence based, and compassionate care for patients of all ages. My new office at 1200 University Ave west in Windsor is a welcoming space rooted in respect, diversity and whole-person care.
My approach is family-centered and relationship driven, I have particular expertise in diagnosing and managing complex chronic medical conditions, as well as providing affirming, respectful care for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals- including gender-affirming hormone therapy and transition-related support.
Throughout my career, I have worked in multicultural urban and rural settings, including with migrant worker populations, newcomers to Canada, and individuals navigating health inequities. I am fluent in English and Spanish and deeply committed to culturally safe, inclusive care that meets patients where they are.
